1. Data Controller

SC LORGER SRL, registered in Tarcea, Bihor County, Romania, email: office@lorger.ro (hereinafter "Lorger", "we"), is the data controller for personal data collected through lorger.ro and lorger.eu.

We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national legislation.

2. Data We Collect

We collect data you provide directly through:

• Contact form: name, email address, phone number, country, entity type (individual/legal entity), VAT number (optional), message.
• Price inquiry form: same as above, plus details about the equipment of interest.

We do not collect sensitive data (health data, political opinions, etc.).

3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

• Responding to inquiries (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures): we process data to respond to questions and price requests.
• Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): site analytics to improve our services.
• Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and marketing cookies (Hotjar), only with your explicit consent.

4. Cookies

We use three categories of cookies:

4.1 Necessary Cookies (always active)

• lorger_consent — stores your cookie consent decision (365 days).
• i18n_locale — remembers your selected language preference (session / persistent).

These cookies are essential and cannot be disabled.

4.2 Analytics Cookies — Google Analytics (with consent)

• Provider: Google LLC, USA (transfer under EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
• Purpose: understanding visitor behavior (pages visited, session duration, traffic sources). IP addresses are anonymized.
• Cookies: _ga, _ga_* (expire in 2 years / 1 year).

4.3 Marketing & Experience Cookies — Hotjar (with consent)

• Provider: Hotjar Ltd., Malta / USA (transfer under Standard Contractual Clauses).
• Purpose: heatmaps, session recordings and behavioral analysis to improve UX.
• Cookies: _hjSessionUser_*, _hjSession_* and others (expire in 1 year / session).

5. Data Storage and Security

Data submitted through forms is stored in Supabase, a cloud platform with servers located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU), which is GDPR compliant. Data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Emails sent in response to your inquiries are processed through Resend (email delivery service), with servers in the USA, protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss or destruction.

6. Retention Period

Form data is retained as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and, if a commercial relationship is established, in accordance with legal accounting and tax obligations (up to 10 years under applicable law). Data for which there is no legal retention basis will be deleted upon request.

7. Third-Party Processors

• Supabase Inc. — data storage (Frankfurt, DE, EU)
• Resend Inc. — transactional email delivery (USA — SCC)
• Google LLC — Google Analytics, if consented (USA — SCC)
• Hotjar Ltd. — behavioral analytics, if consented (Malta/USA — SCC)
• Cloudflare Inc. — anti-bot protection via Turnstile (USA — SCC)

8. Your Rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restriction of processing — limit how we use your data.
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
